My early work was focused on traditional anatomical figure studies and has proven invaluable as a resource for elicting identifiability and emotion from abstracted biomorphic forms. In these studies I learned to observe the minutia of what makes an individual unique in their physical makeup and their personal gestures.

My recent work still relies on my use of the body: by using figurative gestures in abstracted forms I am able to ground my forms in the human experience.
